Established in 2008 and starting off as a civil engineering supplier for local councils, over the last decade Battersby Construction & Groundworks has grown to become a core supplier on the BT Openreach contract, both on Civils works and Fibre installation, ensuring the Lancashire and Cumbria areas (and areas further afield) are upgraded to Superfast Fibre Optic connections.
Battersby Civils also runs a fleet of Mole Ploughing and Directional Drilling machines that can be hired out for the installation of multiple tubing, ranging from 180mm pipe down to the smallest optical fibre.
